If you collect information or sell products on your website, it’s encouraged that you add an SSL Certificate.
What this does is it encrypts any information transmitted through your website. Meaning when someone fills out a form on your website (i.e. an application or general contact form) or purchases something, this helps protect their data by encrypting what is transmitted.
Several Internet users expect website owners to have SSL certificates on their websites. The easiest way to tell if someone is using an SSL encryption on their website is by looking at the website address in your browser. You’ll see that is says “https://”
We encourage new clients to add this feature prior to their website build, however if you are an active client of Lyquid Agency, we can still process and reconfigure your website to be presented through an SSL Certificate.
*** For all active clients whom already have completed websites, your website will be taken offline for about 2-8 hours while we reconfigure your files.
*** You cannot purchase an SSL certificate from a different provider! Third party certificates are not accepted.
